it is or it aint.
i had lunch with the twees on tuesday (the 28th). jen was in town for the weekend. i took her to ORD and we had a much needed chit chat on the way. where'd you come from, where'd you go? (that was just in my head.) but she asked me, "Is chicago home, or is it just safe?"

this just in...
today, on the way to work i heard on the radio: "Chicago is the murder capital of the world." wtf. is this a sign that the change in weather will be coming sooner than later?? super riddics.

third day straight.
ive been at work since friday the 730am-8pm shift. on friday a patient coded (nearly died) right after 7pm. just when you're about to walk out the door...that's when stuff happens. yesterday a pt coded (AGAIN!) right after 7pm. they say it comes in threes. this morning my pt told me that his 2yr old dog died last week. someone in the neighborhood has been putting out poison to kill cats and his dog must have gotten into it.
who does that sh.t?! what is really going on in this world??
