yea ok, so its, "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink." my sistars and i have our own lil way of speaking. you'll get addicted and you'll wana learn. accent and all, beleeb that. ha! we're fun :) really we are.
i am super sleepy, i dont know why im actin' like i dont have to work at 7am...for 12 hours...yaaaaawn. super dee duper yaaaaawn. i took a 4hour 'nap' and i cant seem to fall asleep now. i was driving all day, running errands, took the lil' sis to n from school, took the pup to get groomed, and spent some QT with pops at a casino lunch buffet. we just went to IN for gas...and he figured we should stay and eat. "OK daddy, whatever you say!" my belly loved it.
not much goings ons:
-attended my first nursing conference. 5hours towards my CEU's. sat in room full (of mostly) old skool nurses. change can be made. duno if IL will ever have a nurses union. duno if we'll ever have it as fabulous as CA nurses have it, but eh...it pays the bills.
-the youngest m of m.m.'s boys turned 2, and kuya m. was barney for the kids party. hilarious.
-went to Todai w queen beeh to celebrate how FABO aquarians are. we went for lunch and were saddened by the fact that their mini crème brulée's are only served during DINNER! grrrrrr... we ended up staying at the mall til 6pm, then spending another hour in IKEA, just for sh.ts n giggles. oh wait, she bought some curtains.
-met up with coach b for a major catchup session before she left for her new j-o-b. traveling to different cities in 9mos, educating folks on healthcare. lovely!
-attended k.b.'s baby shower. aawww a lil baby bacon bits is on the way. i havent seen her for a while and now she's about ready to have her a lil' baby girl. she painted and set up the nursery, and already started a scrap book for the lil' one. she's amazing and super creative. she created a stencil from a pattern on some cloth she found and used it to decorate the baby's walls. wow. martha's gotta step down. we got a whole list of 'grown folks' stuff to do when the lil' one gets here. sewing classes, thrift store shopping, shopping for grown up clothes, cocoa butter stick searching, and then some. birds of a feather will always flock together. luurve it.
-been going through old emails, deleting, filtering, fowarding, and trying to reply. i came across an old gchat w m.r. in may of '06 about her new relationship w m.g. and the goins ons at the time. how r. and i were on a break, break number...iduno. and i was telling her about my black cloud that was still lingered over my head. and wow, 1. communication has been severed. 2. looking back you would have thought i saw the light (in all of it/all of them). but no. and 3. in retrospect, i wasnt the only one in the bunch with the black cloud over my head. it must've been in the water that year.
-took care of a bunch of me things: beena's, got my hurr did, and went to the girl doctor for the yearly. oddly enough there were lessons with each appointment. 1. keep track of what day it is. 2. keep track of time. 3. the hairdresser always knows. and 4. i only know whats right for me. (duh.) all in all...decisions have to be made in the now for the later and i talked to s. about everything and im so very blessed for his patience, sense of humor, and for how he loves me. its great.
-speaking of s., he's home for a month! woot! i didnt think i'd get to see him til april for his bday weekend shindig in miami, but lo and behold he touched down yesterday and he's staying til april 4th. yay, super great.
ok forreal, i must catch some zzz's. work's right around the coffee, i mean corner. looks like i'll need lots of that in the morning. i damn near ate a whole box of krispy kreme's within the past 24hrs. maybe thats the cause of me not being able to sleep. high glucose, sugar rush. boo. but theyre sooooo good! my black NF boots havent came in yet, dammit. it'd be nice if i can wear them BEFORE spring. c.b.'s birthday is this weekend. yayayay.
