..it feels quite lovely. spent 5 days in florida, between kendall, miramar, and fort lauderdale...miami, not so much. just via the highway, and "mama, that's miami..." it rained a couple times, but the sun did its job and the ocean made me happy. i havent been near or in it since summer '06 wiff PSPsilog. i love the ocean and because of it and among other things that pull at my heartstrings...i might consider...i got a call back from the secret place, havent made it official yet, but once the papers are signed i'll be 38g's lighter. amen. i started taking dance classes again. hawaiian hula kahiko and auana (ancient and modern) and tahitian. its a great way to start the week. its physically, mentally, emotionally, and did i say physically challenging?? i forgot about the muscles in my legs that exist, they burn when i walk up and down the stairs as a reminder.
i might be able to attend the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Cancer Survivorship ConferenceJuly 22-24, in Burlingame, CA near SFO. the opportunity literally fell in my lap. a god send to say the least. it felt good to be at the school, meeting new people, talking about goals and working with and for the community. *sigh* its been such a long time. im blessed for many things. cant wait to see what's next. woot.
